Birthday Wish

This post is perfect timing hehe!

My birthday is a few days away from now and my sister was asking me what I would like to have as a gift.  She saw that I was looking at some bulova watches because I’ve been thinking of buying a new watch.  Right now though, I don’t have a budget for it yet because we have a lot of payables this month plus it will be enrollment next month.  But who knows, maybe my sister is being a bit generous this year and will give the watch on my birthday? We’ll see! Hehe!

UAAP Volleyball

In our house, we try to expose the kids to sports so they’ll have an interest on it and won’t be using the gadgets too much.  Thankfully, my son got encouraged and is into basketball now after watching the Ateneo game live and also after watching San Mig Coffee vs Rain or Shine during the finals.  Now, we are watching the finals of the volleyball game between La Salle and Ateneo and of course we are cheering for the Lady Eagles.  My daughter now is imitating how the players hit the ball and said she wants to learn how to play volleyball too.  I told her she’ll learn when she gets a little older.  Anyway, game 3 is set on Wednesday and I hope the Lady Eagles can still fight back and win this one to stretch the game further. Good luck!

Ukelele Electric

Have you ever heard something about ukulele electric?  I haven’t, until one time I saw it on one of the tv shows my sister is watching and I find it really cool.  It generates such a powerful sound but still calm and peaceful and yes very cool.  I don’t know if it is because the guy playing it is good looking and carries and plays with it in a very appealing way hehe or it just sounds really nice and cool.  I guess it’s the latter.  Anyway, if you haven’t heard about the ukulele electric yet, go find out about it.  I’m sure you’ll find it interesting too. :)

Lance's Field Trip

Last Friday, we brought Lance to school for his field trip.  Parents are not allowed to join the field trip anymore and Lance was ok with that.  In fact, I don’t think he wants us to join the field trip hehe!  We brought him to school at 5:30 and the bus left at 6:00am.  They were bound for Museo Pambata and Pizza Hut at MOA.
When I got home, Lance said he had so much fun at the field trip.  The parent assigned to guide / assist them even sent me a text telling me that they are on their way back to school and Lance was behave the entire trip.
Lance said he learned a lot from Museo Pambata but what he liked more was the pizza. Hahaha!  Anyway, my boy is really growing na and I’m glad he is enjoying school and school activities like this.

Jamming

I was invited by some of my musician’s friend for a jamming session at their house.  He said they would like to try the new roland effects at musicians friend that he recently bought and he asked me if I want to hear it and make some comments.
Unfortunately I was not able to join them because my weekend was full already plus I don’t have a nanny for the kids.  My friends’ said they really had a good time and our friend’s new musical instrument is really awesome.  I told him that I’ll try to visit and try it as well as soon as I have the time. :)
